The task. A Moldovan winery needs a gift box for one bottle — for the souvenir range and export sets.

The solution. A 165×85×360 mm box, micro-flute lamination — a light rigid box with full-colour printing.

The result. The run of 1,500 pcs was finished in 12 days from the order entering production (30.01–11.02.2026).

The client’s name and photos of the box will be published after the client’s consent. For now the page shows pictures of our own production.

How the work went

From the technical specification we publish the parameters and the lead time. Below is the usual routine for a box like this.

  1. The request. The client sends the bottle or its dimensions, the quantity, the destination market and wishes for the structure.
  2. The material. The body of a wine box is 2–3 mm greyboard; for medium runs we also make micro-flute laminated boxes — lighter and cheaper with the same look. Micro-flute lamination was chosen for this order.
  3. Prototype and quotation. Our technologist proposes the structure and materials; we make a prototype and a quotation. A structural prototype takes from 30 minutes and is tried on the bottle before the run starts.
  4. The run. Printing, wrapping, assembly and packing in corrugated cartons.

Why it works

Micro-flute lamination gives a rigid, full-colour-printed box at lower weight and cost than greyboard. Compared with a wooden case, a wrapped box is lighter and cheaper to ship.

On lead times: the average lead time on our 2025–2026 orders is about two weeks after the artwork and prototype are approved. This run — 1,500 wrapped single-bottle boxes — was produced in 12 days after the order entered production.
